Registered Midwives 

 

Far West Local Health District is currently looking for Midwives and we invite you to join our Midwifery team, we boasts an accomplished, devoted, and enthusiastic team of Midwives who work in consultation with the women and their families during pregnancy, birth and postnatal care to deliver women centred care. Our maternity unit is BHFI Accredited and we pride ourselves on the maternity services we provide to women in Far West NSW.

Far West Local Health District has one birthing unit which is located at the Broken Hill Health Service. We also have strong partnerships with the Royal Flying Doctor Service and our local Aboriginal Health Service-Maari Ma to deliver maternity services across our diverse remote communities.
